Homenetmen and Metro Partner to Provide Easy Transportation to the Navasartian Games and Festival

     In an effort to provide better service for those who plan to attend the Navasartian Games and Festival this year, Homenetmen, along with it's new sponsor Metro (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) is urging everyone to take the Metro to the games. By taking the Metro you can avoid parking hassles, traffic and enjoy a pleasant air-conditioned ride back and forth.
     Metro has a stop right across the street from Birmingham High School at Victory and Balboa. If you choose to drive, the news gets even better, for your convenience there will be plenty of additional parking at the Metro parking lot as well as the existing parking lots.

     "We're doing all that we can to provide better service for our guests", said Salpi Jejeian, a member of the Navasartian Organizing Committee. As an incentive, by showing your valid Metro Pass, Metro Rail Ticket or Destination Card at the gate, you will receive a free Navasartian Dollar to use for any food item purchase at the festival.
     The Navasartian committee, along with the Regional Board is very committed to introducing new, fresh and innovative ideas to the games this year. In addition to the catchy Navasartian website and the Metro program, organizers are also partnering with the 2010 US Census Bureau so the Armenian-American community can be better counted.
